The Ready for action campaign is the result of a discussion process carried out by the Men who have sex with men (MSM) and Gay Men’s Committee of the Coalition des organismes communautaires québécois de lutte contre le sida (COCQ-SIDA). This coalition brings together more than 30 community-based HIV/AIDS organizations in Québec to encourage the emergence and support of concerted action to, among other things, deal with issues affecting people living with HIV and the different populations at risk of contracting HIV. The site was created in 2007 and is updated regularly. A complete redesign, started in 2012, saw its completion with the launch of the current platform. Please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts about this site. The MSM and Gay Men’s Committee includes contributors from the following member organizations: BLITS in central Québec, BRAS-Outaouais, IRIS – Estrie, Maison Plein Cœur, MIELS – Québec, MIENS-Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, REZO in Montreal, Sidaction Mauricie, Sida-Vie Laval. The goal of the Ready for action site is to be informative. Nonetheless, the information it includes: • Is not necessarily complete, exhaustive or systematically updated on a daily basis. • Sometimes links out to external sites over which we have no control and for which we assume no responsibility. The mention of certain products or companies does not imply that these are recommended above comparable products or companies that are not mentioned. None of the comments, references or analyses relating to the prevention of HIV and STBBIs can replace the advice of a specialized healthcare professional.
