Some people believe they’re immune to HIV,

because even though they’ve taken certain risks, their test results have always come back negative. Unfortunately, this is a mistaken belief. There is no such thing as immunity to HIV. Every risk leaves the door open for infection with HIV or other STBBIs. Using one or more prevention methods is the only way to protect yourself from HIV infection and in some cases these methods can also reduce the risk of contracting an STBBI.
