The origins of Ready for Action
This coalition brings together some thirty Québec community HIV/AIDS community organizations to foster the emergence and support of concerted action to respond to the issues faced by people living with HIV and all populations at risk of HIV infection in Québec. Created in 2007, the site has since been updated regularly. The new version you’re seeing today is the end result of the second total revamp that was undertaken in 2020.
Don’t hesitate to tell us your thoughts about the site.
The MSM and Gay Men’s Committee is made up of workers from the following member organizations: BLITSS, BRAS-Outaouais, IRIS – Estrie, Maison Plein Cœur, MIELS – Québec, MIENS-Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, RÉZO, Tandem Mauricie, and Sphère – santé sexuelle globale.
The Spanish version of the site is an update of texts originally translated from the French by Corporaciòn Kimirina, Ecuadorian AIDS organization. We thank them very much.
The site update and the J’aime mon sexe en action campaign are the result of the work of the Ready for Action working subgroup, which includes workers from the following organizations: MIENS-Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, RÉZO and Tandem Mauricie.
The J’aime mon sexe en action campaign was produced by Zone créative. A number of the images on this site were created in collaboration with Priape. COCQ-SIDA and the members of the Ready for Action working group would like to express their thanks.
The Ready for Action texts were translated into English by Andrea Zanin (andrea_zanin_writes@yahoo.ca).
